SPONSORSHIP Entrepreneurship and employment generation SCHEME 2014 BY NETDPF

About NETDPF :“Education is one of the most powerful weapons in fighting poverty”

NETDPF stands for  North East Tourism  Development and Promotion forum and  is a Non Government  Organization (NGO) which is registered under society act vide RS/ JOR/ 238/ A/06 in the year 2002- 2003 NETDPF with  focuses on special education into two main areas - Tourism and Hospitality Sector in North East India .

The organization establishes to bring  a grass root level  movement for North East youths to help in improving them with Professional Education which opens doors of employment for them in India and Abroad.  The Schemes for imparting professional education as introduced by NETDPF operates under an expanded definition of vulnerable communities-- low-income and indigenous youths of North East.

 Not only does the organization seek to empower youth of NE by engaging them in Professional education, free training and employment. It also creates safe environment for our new generation by organizing awareness camp, plantation and forestation, protection of wild animal, providing free medical treatment for wild animal etc.

NETDPF OBJECTIVES:   

  • To increase enrollment in Professional Education (Tourism and Hospitality).
  • To increase employment among North East Youths.
  • To develop Tourism and Hospitality sector in North East.
  • To spread the education net to reach Youths who are unable to attend Higher level Professional Education due to financial crisis.
  • To launch Schemes and Programs to serve NE youths to achieve a large scale impact in their life and career.

i) SCHEME 2014  

NETDPF with NEIMS College has introduced SCHEME 2014 for students taking admission in Degree/ Master Degree courses in Tourism or Hospitality Management. A student availing the scheme after fulfilling certain specified criteria’s (as mentioned in “D”) will get the following benefits during their chosen Course under NEIMS College.

PARTIAL RELIEF IN COURSE FEES :

A student under the scheme 2014 will have to pay his/her course fees for only half of the course duration .The Balance amount will be sponsored by NETDPF

NB-                                    

  •   Course fees Payment amount and Mode as per mentioned Scheme 2014 Fees Detail enclosed in the Booklet.
  •   Admission and Registration Fees is fixed and same for both the general and Scheme availing applicants.

 

ii)     NEIMS College Hostel Accommodation will be Free .

iii)    During Job Training ( as per the Course Module) ,student under Scheme will get  Rs 5000/- ( Five thousand Only) as Stipend .

iv)    Higher Training for student for 6 months ( as per Course Module) will be Free of Cost.

v)     Study Material will be Free, No Membership charge or security fee for Library or Practical Labs.

 

 HOW TO APPLY FOR THE SCHEME :

 

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant should be an indigenous Youth of North East.

Applicants should have documents and merit eligibility as per the Course requirement.

 

PROCESS OF APPLICATION (STEP BY STEP GUIDE)

 

  • The Application is free of Charge and can be obtained with Prospectus  from NEIMS college Campus, Spot Admission Centers or
  • Filled up online at www.neimscollege.com or can be downloaded and E- mail us at  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
  • Application should be duly filled up and submitted to the respective places within two days.
  • All the forms will be scrutinized by a Panel of Committee formed by the NETDPF to select applicants for the Scheme.
  • The Selected Candidates will be informed on pre-mentioned dates and a Card will be issued identifying their acceptance in the scheme and session.
  • The selected Candidates should keep the Card with them during the entire course.
